Welcome to The Episcopal Church of St. John the Baptist in Deadwood, South Dakota. Our parish is noted for offering a variety of religious and spiritual experiences for all ages in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Opportunities for Bible Study and adult classes are offered each Wednesday, beginning with a parish dinner at 6:00 pm, followed by choir rehearsal. On Sundays we have an 8:00 am service of Holy Communion in a relaxed and deeply spiritual setting, and at 9:30 we have the parish Eucharist with full music, anthems by our choir, and Sunday School for children. Following our 9:30 worship hour we have a time of fellowship over coffee and baked goodies.

8:00 a.m.: Holy Communion
9:30 a.m.: Holy Communion, Sunday School and coffee hour
Wednesdays
6:00 p.m.: Wonderful Wednesday: light supper and Bible study
7:15 p.m.: Choir rehearsal
Monthly
Second Sunday, after 9:30 service: Vestry meeting
Fourth Sunday, after 9:30 service: Episcopal Church Women

All people are welcome to our church, and all baptized people are welcome to receive communion. And all unbaptized people are welcome to be baptized!
